here's an entry to reward my dear readers. photos! :)

it was dar's 20th birthday on 15 may! took the day off to celebrate with him :) went to watch spidey 3 and the fun part was, we went up the DHL hot air balloon! :D so coooool. i am always afraid of heights but i thought the DHL balloon was really interesting so i still decided to go up in the end :)

my heart was "itching" quite alot :x i was gripping the bar tightly most of the time since the balloon was rather jerky and instable while we were up there. kinda giddy.. and my ears popped due to the pressure :x

it was quite a good experience, though my dad said it was damn expensive and the whole thing lasted so shortly.. might as well take a lift up the tallest building in singapore :x c'mon, the feeling is different okay! haha..




last sunday i went on a gambling cruise! the entire ship had NO entertainment except for the casino which was rather small also. the worst thing was that the food sucked. i thought i would see mussels but i didn't even see ham (cockles) okay :( the moment we finished touring around the ship we all had the same thought. and that is, to swim home -.- the KTV room looked like a church with 6 rows or benches and a plasma tv :x okay, i shan't complain any further coz that'll probably take pretty long.

anyway, since it was a gambling cruise, i might as well spend my time in the gambling den. i had good luck at first, helping my mum to recoup her losses and could easily earn 10 times of the amount we originally had :) and i almost won $150 in a single game! *heart aches* better than winning 4D ok..

BUT in the end i lost all my money coz lady luck left me :( sigh.. and so i stopped and went back to the cabin to sleep :)

the journey back was terrible. it was already quite dark but somewhere in the middle of the sea we had to change from the gambling ship to a smaller ship and from the smaller ship to another smaller ship :x i felt totally like an illegal immigrant trying to sneak into singapore. oh well..




yesterday was our fire drill!! wheee~ i was looking forward to it so much coz i haven't been to a corporate fire drill before! :D we were supposed to gather at the grass patch outside park mall.. i could see that most of us weren't taking it seriously! for example, they already told us to use the underpass to get to the grass patch instead of crossing the road but everyone still did coz that would be faster :P anyway, here are the photos! :D

we had to look for our department among many many of them.. and not only HSBC staffs were involved coz temasek holdings has offices in the building and so they had to be involved as well.



under each department there're many sections! so we had to look for ours.





all the dept/section signs looked damn boring right.

after we had our attendance taken, some of the staffs went smoking. and us? we went for ice-creaming! :D



wah, because of the fire drill, the ice-cream uncle's business prospered!

after we got our ice-cream we headed back to our gathering spot but they were already moving back to the office. the fire warden saw us and our ice-cream and he was like "err.. can go back liao." hahaha so sorry! he tried so hard to coordinate the drill but we weren't really taking it seriously :x guilty guilty.

but, naughty us didn't head straight back to work after ice-creaming! :P jeremy, zhijian and i went shopping at watsons but we weren't the only one okay! the coffee queue at breadtalk was so looonnnggg~ since we were already out, might as well buy something back right :) hehe, but i did chiong my work after i got back to office ok!




dance night is FINALLY coming :D the items that i'm involved in were pretty okay, according to our instructors. so, yayness :)

tjc just had sports carnival! and i have no idea what has sports carnival got to do with cows. i see cows everywhere in school!

but that's quite cool la :) the cows are cute!




i love salessss~ i bought a pair of shoes from the m)phosis sale and guess what? it's golden again! :D my 3rd pair of golden shoes. don't ask me why i keep buying golden shoes.. i just think they're pretty! :D more shopping sprees after dance night! hooray! :))

and so, i'll be doing my double degree at NTU :)) still rejected NUS in the end and it feels kind of weird because all along i thought i would be doing engineering at NUS. it's okay, i still prefer NTU's offer and most importantly, they make me feel valued :)

okay, i guess i'll blog another time. soon i promise :)
